Schools

Each community in the area has public schools for kids from kindergarten to sixth grade. Nosara has a public high school that services the greater area. Del Mar Academy is a fully accredited private school that serves from toddler through high school. DMA has a bilingual (Spanish/English) curriculum that practices Montessori from ages Toddler to 3rd Grade. Grades 4th through 10th have a curriculum that focuses on preparation for International Baccalaureate program. Del Mar Academy is an accredited International Baccalaureate School (IB) for Grades 11-12. IB is an internationally recognized curriculum of the highest standard that allows children to attend university anywhere in the world. There are currently students from 22 different countries at Del Mar Academy making it a truly international school in the settings of the Costa Rica jungle.
