Why Nosara Living?
A good friend of mine gave me a book by Gary Keller called THE ONE THING. After reading it, I knew that my ‘ONE THING’, or… my professional passion, is helping people move to Nosara. After living in Nosara since 2001, I have seen many people come and go. Most people love it; however, I have watched many people who were entirely unprepared. Nosara Living is about helping you get prepared. While I can think of no place I would rather live than Nosara, I’ll be the first to tell you it isn’t paradise but full of wonderful challenges, ass backward instances, Banana Republic nuances and things that make you go “huh?”.
So, take it from a guy who has been stuck in the mud (on a few occasions), hired good and bad employees, learned Spanish, gotten both Costa Rica residency and citizenship, had a wheel fall off his truck while driving, built a home, had tons of visitors, gotten many stitches, survived a 7.6 magnitude earthquake, snapped surfboards, laughed too loud when a lady farted during a yoga class, has overpaid for services, driven to San Jose about a gazillion times, raised two children, has managed to extract: snakes, scorpions, bats, army ants, a mouse and a skunk from his house, started multiple businesses, lived four years without electricity, crashed a motorcycle, raised and buried a few dogs, help found a school, has spent many hours in line at the bank, and met the love of his life… all in Nosara.
